I volunteered to join the fire brigade because I realized I needed to do something not just for myself, but for the community.
Through the various fire-fighting activities and exercises organized by Better with Water, I learned how to prevent and contain fires.

I also appreciate the partnership between Better with Water and the local Bureau of Fire Protection. “Safety first” – that’s what I’ve learned!

I used to rush to queue at the well to collect water, carrying my Kolshi (water jars). To have enough water for my entire family, I had to fill two jars, which often led to tensions or arguments with neighbors who were also waiting for their turn to get water.

Now, I no longer have to worry about fetching water. There are fewer illnesses, like diarrhea, in my family.
