better with water recognised at Stop Hunger’s 30th Anniversary Event

28 May 2026

Wednesday 27 May 2026, better with water had the immense honour of taking part in the celebration of Stop Hunger’s 30th anniversary, an exceptional event dedicated to solidarity, commitment and hope.

This anniversary edition, entitled “Watering Life”, highlighted the essential role of access to water in the fight against hunger and poverty. For our organisation, this is self-evident: without reliable and sustainable access to safe drinking water, it is impossible to build a healthier and more prosperous future.

Water: A Source of Transformation

On this occasion, BWW was recognised alongside two other international organisations for the tangible impact of their work in improving access to water.

Stop Hunger particularly highlighted BWW’s achievements in the Philippines, where more than 35,000 people now have access to safe drinking water directly in their homes. Beyond improving health and living conditions, this access also enables many families to obtain official administrative identification and gain access to new social and economic opportunities.

This recognition shines a light on the remarkable work carried out by our local teams, partners and supporters, whose commitment makes these projects possible.

An International Mobilisation

The evening brought together the entire Stop Hunger ecosystem: partners, businesses, suppliers, foundations, NGOs, volunteers and donors, all united by the same conviction – that no one should suffer from hunger or lack access to safe water.

Participants also learned about the inspiring work of the Naandi Foundation in India and Le Rendez-vous Solid’R in Guinea, demonstrating once again that access to water is a powerful driver of development, education, empowerment and resilience for communities.

Thank You to Our Partners and Supporters

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Stop Hunger for this invitation and for its ongoing commitment to supporting the world’s most vulnerable communities.

This recognition belongs first and foremost to the thousands of families we support each year, as well as to our field teams, volunteers, partners and everyone who believes that access to water is a fundamental human right.
