New water network in Kalabagan, Bangladesh!

The new Kalabagan water network was inaugurated today.

Kalabagan is established around 32 years ago, is located in the dry fish market area, near by CNB colony.

Around 1,100 inhabitants live in this slum, with an average income of 10tubeBDT per month, per household. 

People use deep tubes well with water available 3 hours per day. The quality of the water is terrific, full of iron, and people have to pay the same monthly amount even if it’s not available.

Already more than 80 households have access to safe water at home and the community of 1,100 inhabitants will benefit from awareness sessions.
